The Legacy Diner

Everyone has a favorite place they like to eat and/or hangout at…literally.  We associate these places with pleasant memories.  Maybe you celebrated a milestone birthday, an engagement or an anniversary.  Maybe your favorite spot is a place to take the family for a night out to give mom the evening off from cooking.

The Legacy Diner

Whatever the reason, we all have such a place, and I am here to tell you about mine.  But before I do I want to tell you why this place is special to me.  When I came across this diner several years ago, I thought that it would be a good place to have a good meal and leave.  It was convenient and it wasn’t far from where I lived.  The people that owned the place were nice enough.  The waiters and waitresses were kind, courteous and the food was pretty good.  I normally stopped in for brunch after church and soon after started to develop relationships with the owners and the staff.

This establishment became a place that I thoroughly enjoy coming to.  As I struck up conversations with the waitresses which almost always resulted in smiles and laughter, I became hooked.  Their desserts are amazing with something for everyone that happens to have a sweet tooth.

But what exceeds the friendliness of the staff is the food.  The food is exceptional!

As a result, this Greek family-owned and operated establishment is one of my favorites.  Nestled in

between Audubon and Oaklyn New Jersey, this five star eatery will always be a favorite of mine.

Four Brothers Publications annouces the release of "Plantation"

The past is past. It should stay there.

Childhood memories are powerful things. Siblings Tarek, Indigo, and Drake spent every summer at their grandparents’ farm in Darcy County, Georgia, but it’s been years since they’ve gone south.

When they learn that the farm is being sold, purchased by a man who has accumulated land all over the county, they put their busy lives on hold to go back and say farewell to the past and have a reunion with the family members who remain. But things in Georgia aren’t what they remember, or possibly even what they seem. One aunt has cut ties and gone north, never to be heard from again, while another cousin is desperate to leave – and unwilling to say why.

When they agree to go on an old-time carriage ride after a family picnic, they encounter something far more dangerous than a journey into the South’s distant past – and discover that some memories are better left forgotten.

What lurks beneath the sun-baked soil of Georgia? Uncover the chilling past - and present - in Plantation, available now.
