"Missing You" by J.L. Whitehead

Missing You

Two seconds after you leave and I watch you drive away,
I can feel an ache so slight, yet so profound.

I can still hear the joy in your laughter,
lingering in the air like yesterdays cologne.

I miss you laying next to me or whispering you love me...or feeling you.
Damn, what you do to me!

Just for a moment, when you leave,
you take a piece of me with you.

And I wont be complete,
until you come home.
